The author does not impress me as being very informed about MSU FB. No mention of Nichol at WR or our TEs.

When do we get the Hondo MSU preview, that will be well worth digesting!

I think you're way over optimistic about Nichol. The way some people are talking they expect Nichol. They are starting to remind me of Sparky Anderson. Anyone remember Chris Pittaro?

Dell, Cunningham, and Martin are solid B10 wide receivers. If Nichol can cantribute great. To me, his value is still as the second string QB.

Depth is a good thing. We started last year with 6 RBs .... and ended up with, what, 2 ?

WR play has been sporadic, especially with Dell. Streaky play and injuries call for at least 6 valid X.Y & Z receivers that can be considered for starters. Although I think Dell and Cunningham are still in the Rather Hall doghouse.
I think Nichol is going to contribute more at WR than many would think as his size is up, he's gained speed, he has tremendous vertical leap, and he's got some real cojones.
I'm betting he has every potential to be another Blair White. We'll see on Sept. 4

Re: the article - anybody could have written that from just checking the season stats. But then, whadja expect ? The guy writes for oddsmakers.
