Thanks for the link. I was out of town last week and didn't hear this. Three years is way better then none.

Is this 3 year quote for real or was it just that he misspoke? Anyone know?

I sincerely hope that he develops on the trajectory that will allow him to be a 3 year player. Albeit I want the development trajectory to be front-loaded.

Felt, to me, like his goal was to be great in 3 years (set the bar high), then consider the NFL if he's at that level.

I like guys who think BIG.

I think people read way to much into what an 18 year old high school senior says or doesn't say. Nobody knows how anyone is going to adapt to college and the college game.

Do you think that he would have come here if he thought they were going to redshirt him?
If they do convince him to do it...that would surprise me no end!
With all the praise thats been heaped on him as a CAN'T MISS player...what could it be that they
don't think he's ready for?
I didn't see any significant performances from the current batch of DE's/lb that would cause me to
redshirt him.
Ever hear of the word 'TRANSFER"?
What other school that recruited him would redshirt him??

He wants to play LB but how is he going to arrive in the fall and crack the two deep with the seasoned talent and depth there?

Inside- Hammock, Bullough, possilby Drew Stevens (ok, no experience, but exceptional prospects and more than just fall camp)

outside- Jones, Gordon, Norman, Gardiner, Gainer, Misch

To play, his a DE, from what I can see.
